This just came across full-disclosure under the auspices of being a privacy intrusion. There's also other people doing the same thing (with a higher advertising rank on Google, no less!).
I've tried really hard to figure out what the problem here is. Sure, the fact that the databases exist is a problem, but I'm having trouble seeing how their being publicly available makes that problem worse. (In a sense, it makes it better… now I can check to see if I'll be stopped at the airport on a bogus charge.)
Am I missing something?
In other news, Bridger's talking about being acquired by Choicepoint. Hrm, lessee here… would that be this:
cp-sftp:x:5071:312:Choicepoint SFTP account:/home/cp-sftp:/usr/local/bin/rssh
Choicepoint?
Right, well then…
