Great. Thanks guys. Schedule the damn thing as the “last Friday of July”.
Just one more damn thing I have to go update in /usr/share/calendar/calendar.* so that calendar(1) works right. Assholes.
Specifically:
[...]
calendar.christian Christian holidays. This calendar should be updated
yearly by the local system administrator so that rov-
ing holidays are set correctly for the current year.
[...]
calendar.judaic Jewish holidays. This calendar should be updated
yearly by the local system administrator so that rov-
ing holidays are set correctly for the current year.
[...]
calendar.usholiday U.S. holidays. This calendar should be updated
yearly by the local system administrator so that rov-
ing holidays are set correctly for the current year.
SAAD creates this diff (diff of the output here; yes, of course, one should diff the roff(7) input file if one were to actually go changing anything, but this is here for readability, which unprocessed roff(7) isn't so much):
--- calendar.1.orig Fri Jul 25 11:23:59 2003

calendar.computer Days of special significance to computer people.
+ Contains one lousy holiday (System Administrator
+ Appreciation Day, of all things) that should be
+ updated yearly by the local system administrator so

calendar.history Everything else, mostly U. S. historical events.
calendar.holiday Other holidays, including the not-well-known,
obscure, and really obscure.
